Spicy Basil Pork Stir Fry
Pork stir fry is a perfect meal to cook when you got little time. Here's an easy spicy basil pork stir fry you can whip up at home anytime you want.
Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork (minced pork)
- 2 tablespoon ginger
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 splash cooking oil
- 1 handful basil
- 3 sprigs green onions (scallions or green shallots) - chopped
Sauce Ingredients
- ½ cup chicken stock (chicken broth or chicken bouillon)
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 2 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons lime juice
Instructions
- Mix all your sauce ingredients.
- Now, chop up the garlic, ginger, and water chestnuts.
- Heat the pan on medium-high, drizzle some oil in there, and toss in the garlic, ginger and chestnuts. Cook until the garlic and ginger become fragrant for about a minute.
- Throw the meat in the pan, make sure it is cooked well.
- After it’s cooked, stir in the sauce, making sure everything is coated thoroughly. Do that for a minute or so, turn off the heat, toss in the green onions and basil and enjoy!
