Ingredients
TO MAKE THE MEATLOAF:
- 2 pounds ground turkey (minced turkey)
- 1 medium egg
- 3 tablespoons almond meal
- 1 tablespoon chili flakes (chilli flakes in British English)
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
TO MAKE THE SAUCE:
- ½ cup ketchup (tomato sauce Australia and UK)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Place all the meatloaf in a big bowl and mix it. Grease a pan with olive oil. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Later place the meatloaf in the pan and bake for 40 to 60 minutes. As soon as it changes color, take it out.
- Make the sauce while your meatloaf is in the oven. Place the tomato, date and garlic in a blender. Blend it well until it turns smoother. Pour the sauce into a saucepan and boil it. After 8 to 9 minutes, add salt and pour it over turkey meatloaf.
