Minced Pork with Capsicum Fiesta
Capsicum comes in several colours and shapes so it is a great ingredient to make your dish colourful. Try this recipe of minced pork with capsicum and enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1.2 pounds ground pork
- 2 medium tomato - cubed
- 1 medium green pepper (green capsicum) - cored and sliced
- 1 medium red pepper (red capsicum) - cored and sliced
- 1 medium yellow bell peppers (yellow capsicum) - cored and cubed
- 1 medium carrots - peeled and cubed
- 1 medium red onion - sliced
- 3 cloves garlic - chopped
- ½ teaspoon turmeric - powder
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 medium pita bread
Instructions
- Heat oil in the pan.
- Sauté the chopped onion and garlic.
- Add in the minced pork and stir fry it till half cooked.
- Add the turmeric powder and cook the mince until it curdles.
- Season to taste; add in all the capsicum and tomatoes and give it a nice stir.
- Try it with Greek pita bread or rice.
Notes
You can use Greek pita or tortillas.
