  • Italian Sausage200 grams Italian sausage - removed from casing
  • Glass Bowl Of Olive Oil Isolated On White Background1 tablespoon olive oil - extra virgin preferred
  • Garlic2 cloves garlic - minced
  • Ketchup1 cup ketchup (tomato sauce Australia and UK) - preferably homemade
  • Bowl Of Cream0.5 cup heavy cream - whipping cream if desired
  • Dried Basil Leaves In Wooden Bowl Over White1 teaspoon dried basil - or fresh, finely chopped
  • Wooden Bowl Of Salt0.5 teaspoon salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper Pile, Paths, Top0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper - freshly ground
  • Parmesan Cheese1 cup Parmesan cheese - grated, for serving

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over medium heat. Add the cheese tortellini and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
