When I first got my crockpot a couple of years ago, the first recipe I tried was this Taco Chili recipe, and I loved it so much so that I made it for every potluck I went to for a year.

I have modified and tweaked this recipe so much that now I have come up with my own inspired by the original recipe. My new recipe turned out to be the best batch of taco chili that I have made yet!

Ingredients
 
 

  • Black Beans On White Background32 ounces black beans
  •  
    16 ounces kidney beans
  •  
    16 ounces chili beans - spicy
  • Ketchup8 ounces ketchup (tomato sauce Australia and UK)
  • Store Of Fresh Water1 cup water
  • Top View Of Fresh Zucchini1 medium zucchini
  • Jalapeno Hot Pepper1 medium jalapeño
  • Dried Chili Pepper Flakes In Wooden Bowl Over White1 medium red pepper flakes
  • Red Pepper1 medium red pepper (red capsicum)
  • Fresh Green Pepper Isolated On White Background1 medium green pepper (green capsicum)
  • Orange Bell Peppers Isolated On White Background Closeup1 medium orange bell pepper (orange capsicum)
  • Taco Seasoning1 packet taco seasoning
  • Ground Cumin1 tablespoon cumin
  • Red Hot Chili Pepper Powder And Half Isolated On White Background1 tablespoon chili powder
  • Onion Powder2 tablespoons onion powder
  • Raw Chicken Breast On White Plate1 large chicken breast - minced
  • Cheddar Cheese Block, Paths1 cup cheddar cheese - shredded

Instructions
 

  • Rinse and drain black beans and kidney beans.
  • Chop zucchini as small as preferred.
  • Add all ingredients but chicken to crockpot and stir.
  • Add chicken breast to crockpot.
  • Cook the chicken on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Top with shredded cheese.
