Marinade Ingredients
¾ cup soy sauce - low-sodium
¾ cup beef stock (beef broth or beef bouillon)
2 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
5 cloves garlic - minced
1 tablespoon ginger
1 ½ teaspoon cornstarch
Stir Fry Ingredients
1 ½ pound ground beef (minced beef) - sirloin
1 box linguine
4 teaspoons canola oil - divided
1 medium red pepper (red capsicum) - sliced thin
1 medium yellow onion - sliced thin
2 medium carrots - cut into match-sticks
2 cups broccoli - florets
2 cups cabbage - shredded
4 tablespoons sesame seeds
Instructions
- First, chop up all the veggies, and then set them aside.
- Combine the soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, garlic and ginger in a small bowl.
- Put the beef in a large zip lock bag, pour half of the marinade mixture over the top of the meat, and seal the bag; make sure you press out as much air as possible. Refrigerate the beef slices for at least 2 hours or overnight.
