  • Red Pepper4 small red pepper (red capsicum) - Preferably red or yellow for sweetness
  • Glass Bowl Of Olive Oil Isolated On White Background1 tablespoon olive oil - Extra virgin for richer flavor
  • White Onion1 medium white onion - Finely chopped
  • Garlic2 cloves garlic - Freshly minced for best aroma
  • Raw Meat Mince1 pound ground beef (minced beef) - Grass-fed for richer taste
  • Bottle Of Sauce1 cup BBQ sauce - Smoky and sweet, preferred brand
  • Worcestershire Sauce1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Rice1 cup rice - Cooked, whole grain or white
  • Cheddar Cheese Block, Paths½ cup cheddar cheese - Aged for strong flavor, shredded
  • Sweet Pepper Red Paprika Powder In Wooden Bowl Over White1 teaspoon smoked paprika - Adds depth of smoky flavor
  • Wooden Bowl Of Salt½ teaspoon salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper Pile, Paths, Top½ teaspoon ground black pepper - freshly ground

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (355°F).
  • Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes. Lightly brush the insides with olive oil and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent, approximately 3 minutes.
  • Add garlic to the skillet and continue to sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  • Introduce the beef mince to the skillet, cooking and stirring until browned and cooked through, around 7 minutes.
  • Add BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the cooked beef. Stir well to combine, allowing the mixture to simmer gently for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the cooked rice.
  • Stuff each bell pepper with the beef mixture, pressing it down gently to fill all the corners.
  • Top each filled pepper with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Place the peppers in a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese has melted and browned.
