2 tablespoons all purpose flour (plain flour Australia and UK)
2 tablespoons cornmeal - for extra crunch
2 pieces eggs - lightly beaten
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cloves garlic - minced
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon salt - or to taste
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper - freshly ground
1 tablespoon mint - fresh, chopped

3 tablespoons olive oil - for frying
