Delectable Turkey Meatloaf Bites Recipe
I love turkey meatloaf, but I found that making them small like in this recipe for turkey meatloaf bites make it more delectable to eat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup bulgur wheat
1½ cups spinach - cut into small pieces
1 cup carrots - cut into matchstick
1 medium egg
1 pound ground turkey (minced turkey)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Using a coffee grinder or food processor, place about a cup of bulgur and grind to smaller pieces but not quite to flour; it will still be small-sized grains. Add 1½ cups of warm water and let it soak for 15 minutes. Then drain and set aside.
- Add bulgur to ground turkey, then mix in egg, spinach, carrots, salt, and paprika. Mix it well using your hands. Then place about a tablespoon into each mini muffin spot.
- Take to oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until cooked through.
