½mediumyellow onion - diced
1cupBhutanese red rice
1tablespoonsesame oil
1teaspoonsoy sauce
1dashsalt
1dashground black pepper
Instructions
Put the Bhutanese red rice in the rice cooker and cook it! One part rice to two parts water. Let the red rice cook for about 20 minutes before starting to combine the rest of the ingredients (below).
In a large wok, heat the sesame oil until hot and add diced-up shallots and onions. Saute until onions are translucent.
Add the meat to the wok and season with salt and pepper. Cook until done.
Then, add in diced-up kimchi. If there is liquid in the jar, pour some into the wok for more flavour. Stir all the ingredients together until combined.
Add cooked rice to the wok and mix until combined.
