Comforting Salisbury Steak Meatballs

I like anything with gravy so these salisbury steak meatballs are perfect for me. If you love saucy meatballs, this dish is a must-try.

Ingredients
 
 

Steak Meatball Ingredients

  • Raw meat mince1 pound ground beef (minced beef)
  • Fine breadcrumbs, also breading or crispies in wooden bowl¼ cup breadcrumbs - unseasoned
  • wooden bowl of salt1 tablespoon salt - seasoned
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • dried garlic1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • parsley on white background2 tablespoons parsley - chopped
  • wooden bowl of salt1 dash salt
  • Ground black pepper pile, paths, top1 dash ground black pepper

Gravy Ingredients

  • fresh butter pieces4 tablespoons butter
  • Ripe yellow onion on a white background1 medium onion - chopped
  • WHITE wine swirling in a goblet wine glass, isolated on a white background¼ cup white wine
  • Bowl of beef bone stock1½ cup beef stock (beef broth or beef bouillon)
  • Spoon with tomato paste isolated on white background1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Mustard isolated on white background. Top view1 tablespoon mustard - brown
  • dried garlic1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • corn starch1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Mix meatball ingredients. Form meatballs and set them aside.
  • In a bowl, mix sauce ingredients: broth, tomato paste, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  • Cook meatballs in 1 tablespoon of oil and 2 tablespoons of butter until browned on all sides. Remove from the pan. Drain most of the fat.
  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan and add onions. Cook until tender. Deglaze with the wine. Add gravy mixture and cook for several minutes until it thickens.
  • Swirl in 2 tablespoons of butter and then taste and adjust for salt, if necessary. Add meatballs and cook for a couple of minutes. Top with parsley. Serve with mashed potatoes and peas.
