I've been on the lookout for the creamiest Moroccan shepherd's pie and I'm so excited to share that I think I finally found the one. This dish is so creamy and delicious! The lamb meat gave it more texture!

Sweet Potatoes Ingredients

Instructions
Meat Instructions
Brown your ground lamb in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Remove the cooked lamb from the skillet and set it aside for later.
Put olive oil to the pan, followed by the onions, garlic, ginger, spices and salt and cook until the onion is softened.
Add the meat to the pan and the honey, tomatoes and stock.
Bring to a boil and simmer until the sauce is thickened.
Add the navy beans and cilantro, stir, and remove from heat.
Sweet Potato Instructions
Boil the cut sweet potatoes in salted water until tender.
Drain well and add the olive oil, cumin, garlic powder, salt and milk.
Blend until they reach a nice, creamy consistency.
Assembly Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Fill a 13x9-inch casserole dish with the filling and spread the mash on top.
Bake until the topping is beginning to brown.
Garnish with scallions, if desired.
