2stalksgreen onions (scallions or green shallots) - chopped
1pinchsalt - to taste
1pinchground black pepper - to taste
2tablespoonsolive oil
1headbutter lettuce
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a medium-sized saucepan over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned. Make sure to break down the larger chunks (3-5 minutes).
Add in onions and cook until translucent (2-3 minutes).
Stir in garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, and Sriracha. Cook until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
Toss in water chestnuts and green onions. Cook until tender (1-2 minutes).
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
To serve, spoon a few tablespoons into the middle of a butter lettuce leaf and enjoy!
