Instructions
First, I browned the ground beef with the onion and started cooking the penne in a different pan. (Follow package instructions for pasta, and taste when it gets close so that you stop cooking at your favorite desired tenderness level).
Next, when the meat was cooked and the onions were very soft, I added half a can of spaghetti sauce and spices.
I simmered this until the pasta was almost done. Next, I added all the cheeses, except for half of the parmesan.
After all the cheese was smoothly melted and the pasta was cooked, I stirred in the pasta and topped it with the remaining parmesan. Bon Appetit!
