1-2tablespoonstallow - (or other good cooking fat like extra virgin coconut oil)
Instructions
Grind fennel seed and anise seed in a mortar and pestle. You can also use a coffee grinder.
Combine ground beef and spices. Use your hands. Once combined, form 4 patties. You may also use sausage casings and stuff the casing with the meat mixture using the sausage stuffer attachment of your meat grinder.
Heat tallow in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook sausage patties for 8-10 minutes on the first side. Flip and cook for another 7-8 minutes on the second side until fully cooked.
