I kid you not; these butter chicken burgers are so flavourful! The combination of flavours complements each other, and I was also surprised. Here’s the savoury recipe you must try using your ground chicken.

Ingredients
 
 

Burger Ingredients

  • chicken egg1 medium egg
  • garlic2 cloves garlic - minced
  • Top view of bowl full of breadcrumbs¼ cup bread crumbs - dried
  •  
    2 tablespoons butter chicken curry paste
  • Fresh lemon juice, Juice of squeezed lemons with pulp in wooden bowl1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ginger2 teaspoons ginger - grated
  • Heap of Indian masala powder¾ teaspoon garam masala
  • wooden bowl of salt¼ teaspoon salt
  • Ground black pepper pile, paths, top¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Chicken mince1 pound ground chicken (minced chicken)

Cucumber Yogurt Ingredients

  • plain yogurt1 cup plain yogurt
  • Cucumber with slices½ cup cucumber - peeled and grated
  • Green onions isolated on white1 stalk green onions (scallions or green shallots) - thinly sliced
  • Fresh lemon juice, Juice of squeezed lemons with pulp in wooden bowl1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • wooden bowl of salt½ teaspoon salt
  • Bowl of sugar½ teaspoon sugar (white sugar) - granulated

Instructions
 

Burger Instructions

  • In a bowl, stir together egg, garlic, bread crumbs, curry paste, lemon juice, ginger, garam masala, salt and pepper; mix in chicken until combined.
  • Divide mixture into quarters; gently press to form 4 patties with wet hands.
  • Place the patties on greased grill over medium-high heat; close lid and grill, turning once until an instant-read thermometer inserted sideways into patties read 165 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 12 minutes.

Cucumber Yogurt Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Gentle Flipping: Chicken, turkey and fish burgers can all be more delicate and crumbly than beef and pork burgers. To flip them on the grill without breaking them, use one spatula over and one spatula under to support each patty as you turn it.
