Easy Cheesy Beef Burritos Recipe
Ingredients
½ pound ground beef (minced beef) - 250 grams, extra-lean
2 teaspoons chili powder (chilli powder in British English)
1 can black beans - 19 fluid ounce/540 milliliter, free of salt, rinsed
½ cup salsa
¾ cup cheddar cheese - shredded, Cracker Barrel Light
4 large tortillas - whole wheat
¼ cup sour cream - fat-free
1 medium tomato - chopped
1 cup Romaine lettuce - shredded
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook meat with chili powder until brown in color. Add salsa and beans and cook for 5 minutes or until mixture is cooked through, stirring occasionally. Take off from the heat and add cheese. Stir all mixture.
- Spoon meat mixture down the centers of tortillas; top with sour cream, tomatoes and lettuce.
- Fold in opposite sides of every tortilla, then roll up burrito-style.
